India is home to the world's largest population of
blind people. Of the 37 million people who are blind globally, over 15
million live in India.
There are 2 million blind
children in India, but only 5% of them receive any education.
Seva is a Sanskrit word for selfless service which is a pillar of the so called karma yoga or yoga of action.
Blind Yoga Seva was my personal volunteering commitment and I have instructed ca. 70 such classes. Each class comprised of 5-10 visually impaired students who practiced with me twice a week. You can read here on how these classes are useful to them.

Large practice groups have great energy, but require assistants who can adjust individual students.Just like strength various between practitioners, each one has his own flexibility
